Role & Responsibilities:
Effectively coordinates Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement projects within the Plant.
Works with Plant leadership to select charter projects and then executes to achieve an effective outcome.
Uses standardized Lean Six Sigma methodologies to systematically eliminate waste and reduce process variation.
Positions continuous improvement initiatives throughout the plant by fostering strong collaboration. Includes working effectively with cross functional teams.
Understands statistical analysis tools/methodology, project management, Lean Six Sigma, Quality, and basic financial principles and applies them to analyze the planned activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
High School Degree or Equivalent Training:
Minimum of two years experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or distribution preferred
Experience in a supervisory role is a plus, but not required.
Ability to successfully complete Green Belt certification process.
Proven organization skills, including time and project management capability.
Must be able to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts to reach consensus around common goals.
Proficient computer skills, including MS Office applications.
Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
